We’re pleased to announce the release of EPIM 26, a major update that delivers powerful improvements across Mail, Calendar, Tasks, Notes, Contacts and the overall user experience.

This version focuses on three key goals: better email workflows, greater clarity and control, and a more consistent, modern interface across the entire application.

Below are the highlights of what’s new in EPIM 26.

More Powerful and Secure Mail in EPIM

Mail in EPIM 26 receives one of the most significant updates to date.

The new version introduces PGP/MIME support, allowing you to send and receive encrypted emails in rich text format with proper attachment handling. This ensures a higher level of privacy and confidence when working with sensitive information.

In addition, EPIM 26 adds:

  • Multiple signatures per identity
  • Advanced dynamic email templates
  • Keyboard shortcuts for canned responses

These features help reduce repetitive work and make everyday email communication faster and more professional.

A Cleaner, More Customizable Mail Interface

EPIM 26 also brings extensive Mail interface improvements designed to improve readability and reduce visual clutter:

  • New “Spacious” message list layout
  • Option to hide folder icons
  • Mail account coloring and custom icons
  • Full integration of rich-text email messages with Dark theme

These changes make it easier to work with multiple accounts and stay focused during long work sessions.

Reviews & Comments

Mostly liking the changes & enhancements, with one big exception - the new icon is terrible - it's bland & lost among similar colour icons on my taskbar & desktop, whereas the old icon was distinctive & stood out making it easy to spot.
Please make the old icon available as an option.
Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it. We'll definitely take your comment into account. Suggestions like this help us better understand what works best for users in everyday use.
Mir geht es genauso. Ich möchte als jahrelanger Nutzer das alte Symbol wieder herstellen.
Please keep an eye out for the next minor EPIM update, which is scheduled to be released in the next few days. We appreciate your patience and understanding!
